Has anyone had implants performed in Hua Hin.
Ive had a hooked root canal/crown performed at Perfect smile 3 years ago and she did a great job but for implants they have a dentist from Bangkok come in. The price seems inflated as much as 15000 to 20000 baht more than implants that I have seen at a couple of places online. Specifically in Chiang Mai !
I love Chiang Mai but would prefer to spend my time in Hua Hin. I have a month set aside for my trip but of course I will return to Thailand after the implants have had time to set to have the crown/tooth mounted.
Any website links or real world experience/prices is appreciated.
Thx in advance !

Where did you end up going and what did it cost for your implant?

Has anyone had implants done at HH Bangkok Hospital?
Re: Dental Implants
I've had implants done at Dr. Sirinate, S-Smile Dental Clinic, 34/30 Petchkasem Road (opposite the main branch of the Bangkok Bank on Pethkasem Road).
Prices start at 60,000 baht. She does everything by herself, only if bone graft is required a specialist comes over.
I'm happy with her work and would recommend this clinic for sure.

Have you checked out Thantakit Dental in BKK? My boss had his dental implants at Thantakit and suggested it to me as I was in need of a root canal treatment back in 2012. Never had any problem with them. The dentists did know what they're doing and communication was excellent as they cater to expats. Been there for my cleanings too.
Re: Dental Implants
I agree with aquatic_chick re Thantakik if you want to go to BKK. Have been there a few times for general dental work and found they are very professional and accommodating. Several of my friends from here in Oz have been there for implants (including one that had ALL teeth done for AUD$21,000) and they are very happy. I understand they are the longest running implant dentist in Thailand. They will even pick you up from your hotel and take you back which is helpful as not sure I could have found the place.

Re: Dental Implants
Well, I can't give you good suggestions for your dental treatment in your locality, but I appreciate that above suggestions that are given by their experiences. I am from Florida, USA and had a dental implant from Dr. Nilesh R. Dalal (our local Periodontics). So you may contact with a local past dental implant patient who had good experience of this treatment.

Re: Dental Implants
I had one implant done at Bangkok Hospital (HH) and am extremely happy with the result. Not cheap at about 60,000 Baht but that's about half the cost in Canada.xyz wrote:Has anyone had implants done at HH Bangkok Hospital?
The whole process took some time from initial appointment until 'everything finished', but the folks in the Dental Dept there are very thorough and professional, and I could recommend them without a worry.
Just one more reason why I love living in Thailand ...
