Good Dentist HH/Panburi Location

Post by Trevtherev »

Having had some really bad experiences with dental work done in U.K. and Hong Kong (high pain, poor work quality and high cost) could anybody within the HH Forum offer any good recommendations and advice on this matter. Thanks in advance.

Hi Trevtherev,

If you use the search function you will find numerous threads on dentist recommendations, some of them being very recent. I can recommend Smile Dental Clinic on Petchkasem, only good expereince with them.

Cheers,
B.

Dazzling Smile Clinic for me, near Soi 6, lady dentist and very gentle !!

Had 4 visits these last 2 weeks for clean & polish, root canal and a filling replaced and never felt a thing.

Nana Dental Clinic between the electric company and 3BB on Petchkasem. My mother (93) used them last year and she's just had dentures made there which are excellent. Also my wife and a couple of friends highly recommended her.

HHTel - 100% agree Dr Nana qualified and practiced in USA and I have done the rounds with Smile in HH - I would not go anywhere else.

I've never tried them, but I've never heard a bad word about the dentist at Bangkok Hospital. In fact, I've heard nothing but praise for him. He (or she? ) has plenty of favourable comments on this forum if you search.

I would have thought that Nana was somewhat cheaper than the Bangkok hospital prices - so why not check this first?

Everywhere is cheaper is than Bangkok Hospital and just as good. I've been going to S Smile, Dr. Nate. My cleaning costs 800BHT. The price varies according to what needs to be done.

I'd definitely recommend Nana's. Three of my family have used her including my 93 year old mother. Very good service and aftercare.

Is that a fact? I know a few people who have used them, and they have always reported how competitive their dentistry prices are.

Who asked for cheaper? Ever heard of quality? Or safe practices to not get Hepatitis C or HIV from unclean instruments?

I'm not sure how we can be sure of safe practice in respect of unclean instruments. All decent surgeries will have sterilisation kit, but how do we know how well it is used? I've never heard of anybody becoming ill as a result of using a Hua Hin dentist.

I think we'd all be interested in learning how you ensure quality.

It's certainly not on the cheapest price....
