Hearing Aid Batteries

Post by hhfarang »

Does anyone know where (or if) I can get hearing aid batteries in Hua Hin. I've been going to Bangkok for them but it would be nice if I could find them locally. They are the tiny ones for completely in the canal digital hearing aids.

Thanks!

It May be an idea to try the Kodak shop opposite the tesco lotus mini mart on petchkasem rd near to chomsin rd

if they don't stock they may be able to order for you if you can supply a sample

Thanks, I'll give them a try. In the meantime, I came up with the phone number of the place I buy them in Bangkok and they are willing to send them to me in Hua Hin C.O.D.!

There is a shop for Hearing Aids in Hua Hin. World of Hearing in Lotuswell-Resort. Owner is a German specialist in Hearing Healthcare, the business is able to offer the same complete service, such as in Europe or USA. :D

Mr S got them on ebay when we were out there. He would order 6 month supply. Very cheap too.

I think that, considering the original post was 7 years ago, and the OP is no longer living in Hua Hin we could probably close this thread?? :D

THERE MUST BE OTHERS LIVING IN HUA HIN THAT COULD BENEFIT FROM INFORMATION ON THIS THREAD... :D :D :D

I have seen the date very well. Even if the request is already 7 years old, the problem is still the same.
Where there are otherwise in Hua Hin a competent specialist in hearing aids not only sold but also can adapt ?
Where can you here bring your device to the service/repair, or buy simple things such as batteries and care products?
The Thai company selling hearing aids are operated by ENT-Specialist. But an ENT-Specialist is not a hearing healthcare professional, as well as an ophthalmologist is not optician.
What I'm saying is that there is such a thing so far with the relevant expertise in this field no one offers here.
I think I must not only mention how hard some things here in Thailand are that are in the old country easy.
It come enough farangs to Thailand with the "brilliant" idea to open a bar. What is wrong, to see the bigger picture, if someone has something to offer really new.

I know the previous posts are quite old so I'll ask the question afresh.

My mother who is on holiday here has run out of batteries for her hearing aid. I've tried every pharmacy I know including Boots and various other places in MV. The places that stock them don't have the right size.

So does anyone have any suggestions. Otherwise she's going to be deaf for the next 6 weeks!!
