Premier League 2011-2012
Re: Premier League 2011-2012
Yes, the poor guy still hasn't been paid since October. He was paying heating bills out of his own pocket for the office staff last winter. The team's been decimated (until last week, it looked as though he was starting the season with 8 players). The one good thing is that the team he fights next season's campaign with will be his own.
We've only seen the good side of him so far. I hope his football talent is as big as his heart.

Good Luck in the new season anyways. I will be keeping an eye on how they're doing myself now.
If it's within arms reach, there's nothing to worry about!!

Not sure he'll be to fussed.E-Dork wrote:The guy was class - no doubt about that.
Any idea of the kind of wages he'll be looking at in Thailand. Certainly enough to enjoy himself here I'm sure of that.
As well as obviously being very wealthy from his football career he is absolutely minted from his property business. The guy owns half of Liverpool.

Rumours were going around the City that he was a coke head so he did that in retaliation to the abuse he was getting from Everton fans.Arcadian wrote:I hope the BIB don`t get to see the video of his white line joke, it was a joke wan`t it?
I have however heard rumours more recently about when he's out and about in town.

Marc Pelosi, regarded by many as the top high school boys soccer player in the United States, thought he had finished his recruiting process when he verbally committed to UCLA.
Now, however, he has a much-bigger decision: Liverpool F.C. has offered him a chance to go pro and join one of the world's top organizations.
Marc Pelosi can play as either a defender or an attacking midfielder.
"It's a great feeling," he told topdrawersoccer.com.
And a big decision for the 17-year-old from Sunnyvale, Calif.
"I have been told the current Barcelona coach said that, 'If you don't go to Barcelona, the second-best place to develop is at Liverpool.' It's a great, top notch organization," he said.

Looks like the Modric move is far from off as he seeks to better himself!

A few years back I said the same about Berbatov, let him rot on the bench for a year or so. It didn't happen with Berbatov. I hope Modric knuckles down and plays or yes I would prefer that he rots on the bench instead of trying to break his contract.
Last resort we sell him abroad!

That way at least he won`t get to play against Barca in the Champions League.BaaBaa. wrote:Marc Pelosi,
