I received my last 16 reminder earlier today. They're keen, I thought, but picked what I could. I then received the normal confirmation e-mail, which at the bottom had:

Have I blown it, or will I still be able to make my picks later?

If you didn't make the picks yet for those particular matches BB, you should be able to go back in later and do so. I made split picks for this round 5, leaving the last 3 matches or so for a few days later, and it all worked. "....1. The Win Point increases in value

Winners become harder to pick, so the WP goes up. Factor this into your picks.

Round of 16: 1.25pts Quarter-Finals: 1.5pts
Semis & Bronze Final: 2pts Final: 3pts


2. No defaults, GSP going down

No default picks are available in the knockouts. The Grand Slam Point is 2pts for the Round of 16 and 1pt for the Quarter-Finals. There is no GSP for the Semi-Finals or Finals.


3. Penalty shootouts may come into play

Drawn matches will go to extra time, then if still drawn, penalty shootouts. Pick which team will go through, and the score at the end of regular time (whether that is 90 mins or 120 mins). If you think there will be penalties, pick the draw score, and you'll be asked for the match winner.

If you pick the winner (whether in normal play or penalties), you will score Win Points. If you pick a penalty winner and the match goes to penalties, but you get the winner wrong, you'll score Margin Points for your full time score. Read more about how penalties work and how they are scored.

Important: when picking the score, don't pick a penalty score (like 5-3). Pick the score for the end of regular play....."
