Doesnt sound good although this has happened before. They're mainly targeting Bangkok, its a little more relaxed in Hua Hin. Most bars here have 'lock-ins' anyway whereby the shutters are down, music is off but theres still cold beer in the fridge

The prawn fishing place is still open all night, well almost ! After more than a dozen trips to HH, I only found it on my last night. (taken there by a very special lady)

I have been i HH the last 2 years for 2 weeks hollidays and I arrive again in next week. I think everythings are going to be a little more slowly in HH, year after year-especially I could be afraid for the future after the midnight closing start march th.1. Last year did Catherine MP close- when do Phet Baber close too ?? You are talking about, that the investigation upon the MP´s situation is a very slowly procedure- yes you are right- nothing news has come to this board in the last year. And now someone are talking about "prawn-fishing place" - What in hell is that?? Is it a secret you can`t tell on the board ???- then please give me a mail . Otherwise give me a better adress here . I´m just comming for "sanuk" and my friend and I would be glad for some new advices for this. :guns:

There is also a place at Phae Mai driving range where you can do shrimp fishing. The idea is that you catch the shrimp and they will prepare it the way you want.

snake,
I think the guys are talking about a restaurant where you can catch your own goong (correct me if i'm wrong  )

The big MPs had to close, the powers above didnt like them in Hua Hin so you may be out of luck if you're a serious 'sanuker' .... have you thought about Pattaya ?

It seems to be where a lot of young Thais hang out particularly at the W/E. It's a huge place made of lots of little islands connected by bridges. You can Drink, eat, play pool, fish for prawn or just hang out. Not a propper Sanik place, but lots of local tallent! I was surprised to see so many friends there...All Thai.

Back to the topic. I am in Bangkok at the moment for a few days and last night I was on my way to my hotel and decided to buy a few ales to go with. To my utter shock all 7/11 and Family Marts + Villa Market had signs saying: "We don't sell any alcohol products during 00.00-05.00. Where is this country heading to? Fortunately the mini mart at my hotel still sold beer. Will it be necessary to start stocking booze beforehand from now on?
