A shame but considering his hard living ways Id say an innings well played with many a six knocked out of the stands.
For a serious fan of classic cinema like me its a blow. Peter brought an intensity and gravitas to the screen no matter if it was a serious epic like Lawrence, or one of his more comedic roles.
A true great.
