The most I encountered were at All-in-HuaHin, but also at the Baquette (between 9.00 and 10.30 am).

All in Hua Hin is a German-style eating place, not a drinking bar. You may encounter somer Germans there during lunchtime or dinner.

Otherwise not really. Plenty of German speakers in Pattaya, though.

Ethanw, I am a German, living in Hua Hin since many years.
Unfortunately many of my old good friends moved away or passed away or became seriously ill. So I am missing someone intelligent for the evening beer. If you have the same feeling please don´t hold back to contact me. (Of course, anybody else who feels addressed may write to me, too!

Sorry to say I don`t know many meeting places for Germans. There is a German restaurant near Hilton, where occasionally Germans meet, I guess. The All-In Hua Hin is a German owned restaurant, but the scene is quite mixed (Scandinavians, Brits, Dutch, Frensh...) and the male owner is not much interested talking with his guests.

There is a Swiss Lady publishing a private info newsletter for the German speaking crowd in Hua Hin and organizing events and charity meetings, but the participants are mostly Swiss, I believe. Anyway, if you are interested send me a board mail.

Just google for "lizzy hua hin"

She is organizing a multi-culti get-together on every 28th of the month in the hilton.
Some farang hiso event.
Swiss people dominate (as far as I know).

Can't believe Germans are so rare here at HH. I'm German, new in town and eager to have a chat and a beer or two :-)

I'm sure theres still quite a few Germans around if you look, but they were much more common a few years back - say 5 to 7; they are comparatively rare these days. No idea where they have gone, but they seem to have largely been replaced by Skandies, and more recently quite a few French.
Had enough of the trolls. Going to sleep. I may be some time....
