I was asking because there is a big military camp in Pranburi, which could lead one to believe that some sort of exotic night entertainment might be available in the area?

the Tesco Lotus store seems to be the centre of night life for Pranburi ha, ha. Downtown has the shutters up after 6 PM.

Aha, aha
Well Pranburi is a typical small quiet provincial Thai town... Hardrock Café close against 6 pm

There is a barracks, but there isn't an exotic nightlife!

Thanks for the Tesco Lotus tip. Actually picked up a young lady in the cafeteria there for an afternoon quickie in my car. No cash involved.
unfortunately you and most of Hua Hin have probably had an afternoon quickie with her. who said romance was dead. ????

Be careful coming back on that Petkesem road at night. It is hell during the day, and it must be a horror show with the drunk drivers in the late night
