it's a Div 1 qualifying league. They are all champions or runners up, so what would you call it?
Hmm, let me think about it. Well, what about a qualifying league. What that be original enough? :D
The official title is Division 2 Champions League, but Champions League just rolls off the tongue a lot easier

By the way, congratulations are also due to buksida's Prachuab who also won their league (I guess buksi is still celebrating). Here's hoping we get Prachuab as opposed to Satun in our group - 1 local derby would help.

Sorry migrant, Mrs BB was with me. I had to pretend not to notice them. Videoing them might have been a bit obvious

Wow, the first match seems to be Prachuap vs Hua Hin. Will that see Buksi and BigBoy facing each other? Hopefully no act of hooliganism started by them. :D

A hard match to start with, but no matter who, all 12 teams are champions. I've got mixed feelings about Prachuab though. Great to have a local derby, but very harsh on those fans who actually supported both teams this season. Fixture list is below - I'll try to tidy it later.

Saturday, Oct. 4 visit to prachuap 57 FC

Saturday, Oct. 25 57 open house get thanarat camp in prachin buri.

Sunday, Nov. 2 57 open house get Udon Thani FC camp thonrat.

Sunday, Nov. 9 57 visiting BCC-Tero

Saturday, Nov. 15 57 open home FC Phichit thonrat camp receive.

Saturday, Nov. 22 57 visiting Phichit FC

Wednesday Nov. 26 57 BCC-Tero homes thonrat camp is open.

Sunday, Nov. 30 FC for sale visit 57 Udon Thani FC

Sunday, Dec. 7 57 visit to prachin buri

Sunday, Dec. 14 57 last weekend open house Derby match was FC prachuap thonrat camp.

Thanks for the update, Bigboy. I'll be trying to make it along to the home games and possibly the short(ish) trip to Prachuap. Do you have any more info about how promotion is decided? Is it the top 2 teams from each group of 6 are automatically promoted? If so, and there are teams on the same points does it come down to goal difference, head to head record and/or possible play off match do you know?

Additionally, I don't know a great deal about the teams from the other leagues. Any idea of strong favourites or likely weaker teams??

The 2 top teams from each group will be promoted to Div 1. If 2 teams are on the same points, I'm fairly sure it is goal difference that comes into play. Beyond that, I don't know.

All that I know about the other teams is their perfmance (league positions) which you can view here http://www.thaileaguefootball.com/index ... =539698285

As I learn more, I will share it.
