Hua Hin Jazz Festival 2015

Seen some conflicting dates online for the hua hin Jazzfest, anybody know the actual dates for this year?

The organization of this event is always an epic cockup with dates only being announced a couple of weeks before it actually happens.

Have read July 3-4 but dont quote me on that, as usual nothing from TAT, the official organizers, or the few fake facebook pages that have turned up for it.

I don't read Thai so I'm wondering if the number 19 in the Thai document is for Soi 19 (same as Immigration office)?

I reserved a hotel room, drove 75 km one way, only to find out that it was canceled. I arrived at the Queen's park at 6 pm only to be told, " No hab festival". I had taken a motorcycle taxi out there but I had to walk about 1.5 miles back towards Hua Hin before I could catch a baht bus the rest of the way to the center of Hua Hin. So, at least I got some exercise.
The owner of the hotel I was staying at called someone she knows who works in a government office. He told me that it might be held in November.
What a cluster #uck.

Bloody Hell patekatek, did they really cancel it? I didn't realise. I completely forgot until I heard loads of fireworks going off. I put 2 and 2 together and assumed they must be from the Jazz Festival.

I wonder how many travelled even further for the concert - amazing that they can cancel at such short notice

My bf and I had been looking for the Festival for one hour Saturday 8th... We've checked soi 19 couple of times, and nothing... :/

I know of a great many who had booked (expensive) hotels, many weeks in advance, to come and watch this event in Hua Hin from towns far away.

To the organizers of the Jazz festival:

"You are a bloody disgrace. Couldn't organize a piss up in a brewery. Year by year you show your horrible lack of thought towards the event but this year you have somehow managed to surpass your previous attempts. You, the organizers, should be ashamed of your lack of respect towards promoting the music loved by His Majesty the King in his home town. Brain dead group of twats",

After reading some of the comments from Thais about the situation (thank you google translate ), it seems, most lovers of Jazz thought that the event was going to be such a disaster (due to the poor line up given from lack of 'give a shit' by the organizers) that the event was called off... hardly any people were going to turn up.

I don't particularly like Jazz but, I mean... they had a whole year to prepare properly for this event, instead of just throwing a line up together at the last minute.

'Incompetent' doesn't cut it - at ALL.
