Wun Mare (Queen's Birthday/Mother's Day) August 12th is the next public holiday in Thailand.

I recall that it has been designated a 'dry day' in Bangkok in recent years, is it the same case in Hua Hin does anybody know?

I have a 'kitchen pass' as my daughter is off to see her monther and my girlfriend is off to see her mother also ...

Sounds like I'm staying put here in Jomtien ...

BKK along with HH will be mostly dry from what I hear. Obviously there will be places you will find open ...

However here seems to be business as normal according to those I have spoken to ... but then again the 'men in brown' could be up to their usual tricks of telling everybody they have to close tomorrow just before they close tonight! :?

We have more than our fair share of 'Men in brown' in HH so I'd bank on it being dry also.
