Our monkey(3 1/2) is very happy at Pratthana, comes home with homework regularly (English Alphabet, Thai Alphabet, Maths, life-skills) the teachers are friendly and very communicative--they know who you are from day 1, and work hard to make all the students successful. It is a Thai language school, with minimal English thrown in--but we work the English at home, and have maintained dual-native thus far. Fees aren't bad either--inclusive of uniforms, books, school fees, lunches, etc. it totals out at about 25-30k for a full year....

An International school should one ever open will be much more expensive. Pattaya/ Phuket
who already have schools costing 500k + per year.
Unless international companies open locally who are willing to offer education packages as part of salary IMO there will never be a big enough demand for an international school in Hua Hin.
Good secondary education to internationally recognised standard is not available in Hua Hin.

Hi, Frost.
Could you please share your experience on nursery. I'm looking for the same for my 2 daughters of 1,5 and 3 years old. Thanks in advance.

my girls are going to Pratthana Nursery for 3 weeks already. It's really a nice place with very kind atmosphere, but girls still cry in the morning. Not sure what to do - look for another place or just wait when kids get used to school... :?
