Learning Centre in limbo

Post by bapak »

Everything now in limbo at The Learning Centre as another school keeps lodging frivolous objections with the Education Department with regard to our licence application. Once one objection is thrown out, they lodge another one.
While The Learning Centre is sorting this problem out, for those interested in English classes, we recommend that you contact WECI at info@wecitefl.com, and for Thai language classes contact Insight at info@insightenglish.com

Sorry to hear this Bapak.
You have a good school there and I hope everything will be sorted out soon.
Hua Hin need people like you and your teaching program.
Best of luck to you and Dijab!!

I believe I know the culprit behind all your problems and that person is a real 'nutter' if I may say so.

I'm saying this a private person and not as a moderator of this board!!

Sorry to hear about your problems Bapak
Unfortunately it is very much dog eat dog here and if you are up against someone with a influential local backer it’s going to be difficult.

Yes, sorry to hear that, you put a lot of effort into introducing new programs for people. When you say 'in limbo', are you actually told to stop classes and other active operations?

No backer... just a malicious person. Time will sort it out... and we are patient.

Legally, we can teach up to 7 students without a licence... However, we have decided no students until licence is approved. We are keeping staff busy practising for free on some kids and course preparation.

Out of Limbo... Despite frivolous complaints by another language school (which has now been left with egg on their face), an Education Department Committee of 7 persons have unanimously approved our licence.

Our thanks to many supporters.

Out of limbo and again offering Thai language to farangs supervised by Sinsook Chirachant (Jeab), the writer of the first curriculum leading to ED Visa in Hua Hin. Our lovely Phueng leads the Thai language teaching team.

For those interested in the ED Visa course of 180 hours, the cost is Baht 24,900 (about Baht 138/hour). There is no charge for the visa documents.
