Thanks bapak. I'll potentially be looking to do something around November time, so just looking for a quick heads-up at the moment.

For learning German and Japanese under the ED visa, do you have class instruction or would it need to be more along the lines of private tuition? The latter would likely be too costly for me. If the former, are we looking at similar prices to Thai language tuition under the 180 hours programme? It would need to be beginner level instruction for either, despite some smattering of German from my school days.

Mandarin would also be of interest, so any info you have on that at this stage (with regard to the above), would be helpful. Thanks.

Regarding whether Group or 1 on 1, it will depend on demand at that particular time. We require 3 students to make a group and this is often accomplished, particularly with German.

You mention "..under the 180 hours programme". Are you planning for Ed Visa? If so, price would be similar... If not Ed Visa, our normal classes are of 20 hours duration and would cost Baht 3,100.

Suggest that you email me (info@learningcentre.co.th) when you know that you can start studying and we can plan accordingly. Also, advise your location.

Hi bapak. I asked a while back about Mandarin lessons. You mentioned above they might at some point become available. Is this still a possibility or dead in the water?

Unfortunately, cannot assist. Very hard to get a Mandarin teacher to come here.. They want to stay in Bangkok.

Most of the Thai universities will undoubtedly have Chinese, Japanese and Korean teachers here on a 1-2 year contract. I'm sure they would be delighted to supplement their income by doing a few hours per week for a school like yours, bapak.

Actually, I'm not at all sure  , but it's certainly an avenue worth pursuing if interested.

True, but to entice them to come from Bangkok to Hua Hin for a few hours
(most likely on the weekend), is not an easy task. Have tried.

Apart from all that, we have not had the demand for Mandarin. I think we should have, but then this is Hua Hin where it is hard to entice Thais to study English, let alone Mandarin.

I mean the universities in and around Hua Hin. There is life outside Bangkok!
