looking for a private thai language tutor in Hua Hin?

Post by Nille »

Its time to run another series of classes... :guns:

Can anyone recommend a good thai language teacher here in Hua Hin?

- I prefer not to do it at my home
- Requirements. 2 hours 2-3 times per week, in the afternoons
- Intermediate level. Speak some already, read little. (over 10 years in LOS)

Need to know what I should pay and what I can request in terms of teaching skills?

What are the prices for Private classes with Thai teachers out of interest.

English lessons are beteween 900 - 1200 an hour (based on what the Thai parents pay my wife through the 'agency') I'm assuming a Thai lesson is considerably lower due to the different wages scales.
If it's within arms reach, there's nothing to worry about!!

If you are still seeking a tutor..... my wife/partner may be of assistance.

She has worked as a language teacher, and translator, in Phuket for a time.

She is Thai/Japanese, and fluent in both Thai, Japanese, and English: given her 2 doctor parents neither spoke the others language, but both English.

In hindsight funny, before they split, each arguing in own language, and 4 year old translating.

If you are interesated use my screen name as is, and add @yahho.com on the end to email ok

Cheers Allan

Just a quickie... If you want to promote any services of which you would profit from, you need to become a sponsor and advertise said services on this website. Mods will give you all the details soonish, I am just a mere trouble maker on this forum.

With respect, E-Dork, I think he was just responding to our part-time work offer and not generally soliciting work.

Appologies, and absolutely not trying to ruffle any feathers soliciting for anything.

God knows enough girls around here already soliciting....

A 53 year, bald, old fart like me...yea right...just kidding around.

But trust my humour goes over better than my 2 finger typing skills...yahho = yahoo

If not, easy solution; just laugh at me, and like I care.

Which is the good part of a serious brain injury which left most of my intellect intact.
Well that is my opinion at least, but been known to be wrong many times before though.
