HONDA HUA HIN DEALER - ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS SORT OF SERVICE?
We bought a "Honda city" car a couple of years ago from the Honda dealership in Kanchanaburi, we got excellent service and their sales person Khun Noi became a real friend to myself and my wife. The car was great too and served us very well.
Several of my friends living in Hua Hin drive Honda vehicles and we decided that we would change the car and either buy a "Civic" or the "new Honda city" car. We were strongly advised by several of our friends to use the Honda dealership in Pranburi, they cited poor service and poor deals from the local dealership in Hua Hin which is located on the Petkasem Rd just a few kms north of HH town center and more or less opposite the Hin Nam Condominium complex and night club.
We eventually ordered a "new City" from the Hua Hin dealership and had been initially serviced there by Khun Nam. The colour we ordered was not such a popular colour so we were told by Kh Nam that the car may take up to 2 month to come into stock but we were in no hurry so agreed. Khun Nam promised if it took longer than 2 mos then she would cancel the deal and refund in full our deposit if we so wished. This seemed reasonable.
The car duly arrived in just under the 2 month deadline but then the problems really started. It took the dealership five whole days to even start to ready the car, eventually it was handed over to us six days after it arrived in Hua Hin minus just about every extra we had ordered and paid for. At the order stage Khun Nam could not be more helpful, after she got our money she could not have been less helpful.
We complained right to the top and spoke to the owner of the dealership in Hua Hin. We were promised all would be put to right at once, even his promise was entirely hollow and false as almost four weeks after taking delivery of the new car we still do not have all the extras. The road tax disc (which should be on a new car before its driven out of the shop) was only supplied two days ago, the reversing sensor is still not on the car and the “free” tow rope and emergency light are still completely missing. We shall probably never see those.
We also paid for class 1 insurance through the dealership. We do not have a single shred of paper to show that we are insured. Khun Nam simply said in an off hand way no problem if you have an accident just give me a call. That’s worrying because Khun Nam does not answer calls to her, she does not respond to messages left and we feel that of all the car dealerships we have used in Thailand being Toyota Sukhumvit Bangkok, Mitsubishi Nakhon Pathom, Toyota Cha Am, Toyota Petburi and Chevrolet and Isuzu Hua Hin the Honda dealership in Hua Hin wins the top accolade for the poorest service we have ever encountered. It seems our friends were right all along, if you’re buying a Honda drive to Pranburi the short distance involved is well worth it in terms of stress and anxiety reduction. We shall write to Honda cars Thailand to complain about this dealership, so watch this space. We shall also send a copy of this posting to the owner of the Hua Hin dealership.

I was there once to make an inspection of my city.
In every other honda dealer i just drove in (about 1-2 pm) and got the service i needed.
In several BKK honda dealers, in nakhon ratchasima, even in khon khaen when i had a problem with my car there once.
In HH i drove in at about 11 am just to the staff tell me i can make an apointment for 4 days later.
The garage was nearly empty and some of the mecanics was standing there and chatting.
I smiled, thanked the staff and drove away.

We bought a Honda Jazz in Nov. 2007 there and had very good service and prompt delivery.
The only thing, which disturbed me was, when we brought the car to repair a small damage to the car body. They had to order a part from Bangkok, so we had to leave the car there for 5 days. I tried to convince them, that we can bring the car as soon as the spare part has arrived. But this was not Thai-logic, so we had to leave the car there. It was repaired satisfactory and all was paid by the insurance although the damage was our fault.

Previous posts have reported poor service at the Hua Hin Honda dealer recommending the short drive to Pranburi as a better option. Sad to hear
that there messing you about!!!
I will be looking at the new Honda City in the next few months middle of the range model. Which model did you go for and how does it compare to the older model??
I would have liked the Civic but I think it overpriced!!!

OP it seems you really have an axe to grind against Honda Hua Hin - you started an identical thread on another forum 2 months ago. You have not even updated your post.
We bought a CRV from them over 2 years ago and had very good service then and ever since. Although when it came to body repairs we were told we had to take the car to Pranburi - again no complaints about the service.

I bought my Civic 8 1/2 yrs ago in Honda Petchaburi (Saksiri Motors - then) and always had it serviced by them.
When Honda opened in Hua Hin I continued my servicing in Hua Hin.
The guy I ALWAYS deal with is called Prasert and he actually came from the Petchaburi dealership.
Have always had first class service from both places and the car has been brilliant and my next new one will be a Honda.
