All New Fortuner by Toyota - Questions

I am confused about the engine sizes. Does any one know which one(s) are Diesel?

Does any one have one of these new SUV's. Comments?

2.8V 4WD AT Baht 1,599,000
2.8V 2WD AT Baht 1,529,000
2.7V 2WD AT Baht 1,449,000
2.4V 2WD AT Baht 1,369,000

Did the price go up on these? I remember 1.3 for top of the line Diesel.

The 2.7 is petrol - the others diesel.

Thanks Frank. What about the 2.4? Is it a smaller Diesel version?

Yes smaller diesel, 150 PS instead of the 177 from the 2.8 (the petrol is in the middle with 166).

Not sure what difference there would be in actual on the road performance between 150 and 177, not much I expect but you can only get the 4wd system on the 2.8 at the moment. ( I don't know if they plan to release a 2.4 4wd but the Hilux comes in a 4wd version with the 2.4 so it's not impossible )
