I didn't found it too, i was on the beach, saw the holes but can't get to the entrance. I tried many roads but always "cul de sac". Google earth is not up to date so can't find the entrance by this way.

You have to go past the course headed south and then turn into the road at Suan Song beach. There is a PTT petrol station there and a driving range just off the highway.

For the entrance to the course, carry on over the railway lie then turn left and go straight. It will take you to the car park. You will see the clubhouse being constructed. Caddies gather to the left as you approach, sat under an awning.

Green fees are paid at the hotel. To pay, turn RIGHT after the railway line and drive to the hotel on the left. Can't miss it.

Played yesterday a.m. Caddies were from Banyan and fine. The driving range looks scruffy, range balls are poor, practice green is like a rugby pitch. Definitely needs upgrading. There's a couple of bunkers to practice out of and you can chip. You can also play off the grass, to the side. Try not to hit the scavenging dogs.

Thought the course was in good condition, relatively easy, both to walk and to play, compared to others. Sand was heavy, though. Nice toilets. A sandwich on the course cost 35 thb.

The Golf Festival ends on 30th September, after which date all clubs are back to their normal pricing.

I thought that the 800 rate would apply until the clubhouse was built - maybe early next year?

There have been a few conflicting reports.

I was told by a friend this week that having spoken to some person who appeared to be in charge, that the green fee from October is Bht 1500 - however who knows ?

He was also told that this golf course ''was built for the Army and their friends'' : nothing wrong with this of course but this same friend who played last week took 5hrs 45 mins to play an 18 hole round behind a couple of generals etc

Annual membership at Bht30,000 plus Bht 700 each round - so he was also told !!

We shall see what transpires.

This thread has probably ruined that...
The course is booked solid for the next 5 days!
They probably intended to keep the price at 800 baht until the clubhouse was built, but after seeing the turnout and popularity decided to up it to 1500 after September... typical Thai!

If the membership quote is correct, one would have to play a minimum of 38 rounds per year there to make it worthwhile.
