300 baht is the normal tip. Tourists tend to often pay a bit more and locals are more likely to pay the normal tip. It is very important for the caddies to find a local who plays 2 or 3 times per week because from March until November they get only 1 or 2 rounds a week otherwise, with long waiting periods.
I would prefer not to have a caddy because I trust my own greens reading and yardages more than the caddies. I have played my home course several hundred times so I should know it. I do appreciate the job they do though since I have done a lot of caddying myself in the UK.
How much do you tip caddies today ?

Is 300 bath still the normal tip or have it increased. Last year when I played Black Mountain and Banyan, I heard some rumors about 400 - 500 was quite normal.
