What's the course conditions like at the main courses?
Banyan

You wondered if any work was going on ? - excuse me all the courses have sufficient ground staff and with the excellent rain fall over the last year they are all in good condition - perhaps Lakeview have as good as any greens but fast too. Springfield is also good. Rain may well occur in about 3 weeks

Thanks Pet for the response. When I meant work going on ...I mean hollow tining of greens etc. Or major maintenance works during low season

Springfield has been verti draining their greens. Done A and C already and should be good again shortly. B not done yet. Fairways are best they have been in years. They have a rate of 1000 baht green fee if you have Thai driving license or own a property here. I live beside Black Mountain and have noticed they have closed front 9 for maintenance but back 9 and new 9 are open. Not sure about the other courses.

Ok thanks for the update. Really looking forward to the trip again. I come at least 2 times a year and have played all the courses. Banyan is still my favourite for the overall experience.
I Did Chiang Mai golf trip in Dec and not a patch on the courses in Hua Hin.
