IS THIS DANGEROUS?
Friend has this guarding his chillis. Is it dangerous?

I'm no expert but it looks like a bronze back tree snake, quite common, fact and although it has venom it is not dangerous to humans. I stand to be correctedrichard wrote:Friend has this guarding his chillis. Is it dangerous?

I did a lttle further checking with some Thai friends.This species of snake is actually quite agressive, for its size and very fast, can climb walls very quickly. It does not like to get cornered (who does). Originally It was thought to be non Venomous because the venom is so weak. However, if you let it bite for a long time (heaven knows why anyone would) you might need treatment.

It's got quite big eyes (in relation to it's head-size).
