Air Asia 1,000,000 free seats
Erm, sorry but where's this info come from? The math doesn't work - thats almost 20,000 jumbo jets full. Equals about 400 long haul flights every week for a year.....
A sprout is for life - not just for Christmas.
Maybe the seats in the waiting room of Air Asia Ticket Offices are free.
Something to do with this maybe? Dated 7 December 2005!

I believe the seats are free for domestic routes from origin point.
such as Bangkok-Phuket / Kuala Lumpur-Penang / Bangkok-Phuket / Penang-Jahor Baru.... in other words...travel within same county.
For budget travelers ex Perth there is Jetstar who is offering 2 for 1 deal, or you could travel Tiger booking the sectors seperetely (PER-SIN, then SIN-BKK) return for about $400 aussie dollars.
Cheers

Free Seats
If you check the website Free seats are for internal flights flying between 05/01/2010 and 30/04/2010 but have to be booked between 11/05/09 and 15/05/09.
You pay for the fees only. I checked some dates for Phuket and Udon from BKK in January and both were free both ways with a fee of 406 baht.
Bargain if you want to see some more of the country. Internal offers in other countries, Malaysia etc to langkawi also free.

This is a promotion that is offered once a year by Air Asia. I personally have taken advantage of it on a few occasions. The dates have to be right but the tickets are available. I have flown the following routes on free flights with Air Asia;
Hanoi - Bangkok, KL- Hat Yai, Bangkok- Krabi, Bangkok-Chiang Mai

Good marketing strategy then - and pretty safe give the windows of time available for booking! 10 out of 10 for those who have managed to book the free flights

I booked today from BKK to Chiang Rai in March 2010 (in April were no free tickets). 460 Baht plus 100 Baht for Baggage up to 15 kg. This seems to be new, that you have to pay even for small baggage and you have a discount if you pay for more weight at booking time (up to 25kg for 900 Baht!). But how shall I know how much baggage weight I will have in March 2010?

HHF - we stayed in Grace's Boutique House last November in Chaing Mai. 140 Ratchapakinai Rd. Tel. 086 311 5870.
Great little place tucked away down an alley, with some seating outside in a courtyard. Basic but clean en suites with small TV. Mainly fan only I think. Booked through the Tourist office in Bangkok at 700 baht twin, but rooms can be had direct for 500. Internet caff and laundry just around the corner, and not far from the weekend market.

Yes the lad who did the night shift spent all his time wrapped in a blanket with a woolly hat pulled down round his ears and fingerless mitts on. If asked for ice he did a quick dash to the bar and came back and plonked the whole bag on the table!
Bless. And that was only November...
