If it was at swampy, I have also experienced huge queues getting through immigration recently. The 1st time I put it down to 'it happens sometimes, or staff shortages', but was surprised to see the exact same situation a few weeks later.

I almost missed my flight twice.

So anyone traveling through swampy, best to get there early.

Going OUT: It is very strange but on occasions, mostly for early morning flights, I have gone to the Immigration hall, two people in each line, through in five minutes.
Coming IN: I have never seen this when coming in.

What the world needs is passports on a readable card, where your re-entry Visa etc can be entered on the card and for passengers with straight forward entry or exit do it through a machine

I have been in massive queues in past years coming into swampy. I usually like to keep to the extreme right hand side near where the diplomatic and air crews go. I am sure we all have knowledge of what queue and who not to stand behind.

I was in that queue for ages. They have to do something about it. Its absolutly crazy...!

I queued in front of some screens for about 40 mins and when I turned the corner it snaked for another few hundred yards.

They must realise people have planes to catch...?

Or perhapps they are hoping for lots of visa overstay fines...!

Anybody been inbound this week ? Any queues at passport control

When I came in late Dec it was OK but the time before that in October the queues were to the back of the hall and then queuing again to go out the customs exit. I land at 7.45 am tomorrow.  :neener:
