Used it a few years ago.
As I remember it's open to all passengers upon payment of approx. £10 for a 4 hour stay.
Quite small inside and has free internet and snacks / drinks, no showers.
Useful if you have a long stopover there - some critical comments on this You Tube site :

Hello,
maybe a little bit late. Yes the Marhaba Lounge is open against payment to public. But I thing that is not a good choice. There´´s also a independet Lounge operated by the Dubai Airport Hotel - several Airlines used it for their First and Business Passengers. They have a First Class and a Business Class Lounge. I was at the First Class Lounge a few Years ago. Very Good Value - incl. Shower, hot Food - champagne - all other beverages - it cost around 40€ for 4h as I remember it was called DCA Lounge.

Was going to make a new thread but thought I'd ask in here, slightly change of topic.
I normally fly direct, but this time got a connection at Muscat with Oman Air. Now the stopover is only 90 minutes. As I say, never had a connecting flight before, so what is the crack with this regarding your baggage and security checks?

The only things I regret are the things I didn't do

I used them last year, and couldn't fault them - especially when you consider the bargain price we were flying for. It's not the best airport in the world, but it's clean. You can grab a coffee or a beer during your short stopover. What more can you ask for during a 90 minute stopover/
You won't see your baggage until you arrive at your final destination. I've never had had a problem with a stopover with baggage anywhere in the middle east.

I don't think you'll be disappointed - I've paid a lot more for a lot less.
