Does the equipment vary, or are we discussing two different companies?

I followed it down into town from the Southern U-turn (it was going to the bus-station) & it was a big bus.
(I think they may have a smaller 1 running also..would make sense I guess).

A friend used the bus from Hua Hin to the airport last week and reports that it was very good. Left on time, arrived on time, and was comfortable.

Nothing more to be said so let us hope it gets the support it deserves.

Couple of thoughts...

305bt & 3 hours (Bus To Airport) plus 90bt and 45Minutes (Sky Train) and you can be in central bangkok without having had to go near a minivan. Ok so it's almost double the time and cost, but certainly more comfortable and safer.

305bt & 3 Hours (But to Airport) plus 134bt and 2 hours (Bus to Pattaya) and you've got yourself a comfortable ride to Pattaya. Never been to Pattaya so I don't know how that compares to other options.

This is what I received from info@belltravelservice.com yesterday
At Suvarnabhumi airport, our staff will be waiting for you at
“Pattaya” counter on Level 1 Gate# 8. Then he will lead you to the
bus, which is parked right outside the terminal.

I used this service both from and to the airport and it was comfortable and good value. With the traffic at the toll the advertised time of 3 hours is optimistic and i would assume nearer 4 most times. It was more than half full both ways and so would assume it will continue and I will certain want to use it regularly if it does. With first bus at 7.30 am and last at 18.30 it won't always fit in with arrival/departure times though.

DHL don't have an office or agent in Hua Hin anymore which is why I assume they won't accept the Hua Hin post code online.

DHL will deliver to Bangkok and will then subcontract the delivery to Hua Hin, I have had received several letters that have always been delivered promptly this way. Are you able to omit filling in the post code online ? Might be worth a try.

Yes, to clarify, as I now know after using the service, Level 1 of Suvarnabhumi is the one below Arrivals and above the rail link and gate #8 is near to where you come out of Customs, so if you just drop down a level you'll find the desk just to the right of the door.
Incidentally, there is a rather good Thai style food court just after this where you can get a good local meal and a beer while you're waiting which was a nice find.

An excellent service, I've used it in both directions now and it appears reliable and a good deal more comfortable than a taxi at a fraction of the price. The trip was around 2 hours and 45 minutes each way - much better than I expected - and with free water and a toilet on board, there's not much to complain about provided their schedule suits yours. The ride is a little bit bouncy, which says more about the roads than the bus, but the seats almost recline flat so it's very easy to get comfortable.
