Maps

Post by seasider »

Hi All

I will be returning to HH for a short break soon, only this time I will be driving myself :? . Not too worried about the BKK HH bit, but is it possible to buy a road map of the HH area and if so where? I have never really had to look into this before as we have always used taxis etc in the past :) .

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

You can buy local maps in most good book shops in either BKK or HH.

Alternatively print this one out:

Thanks, I did try to print that out but it doesn't seem to print - I can print the text above the map but not the map itself :( Of course that may be due to my technical dyslexia.

I will try the bookshops in HH when I arrive (assuming I don't get lost of course). Any particular shop?

Try to use print preveiw first ...... Left click on file top left of browser scroll down the pop up box to print preveiw and left click,,,, it should show three pages one with text , one with the map the final page with more text this should print off fine !

Nah, tried that - even in print preview I can't see the map, only the text above it. :(

Are you talking about the map on this site ?

I wonder if you can make it av. off line and take it with you on a laptop?

or even print it that way?

I will try and let you know.

I need a map too or i never find my hotel

We've stopped people right clicking and doing that for the reason that everyone would simply pinch it and put it on their own websites.

We can send readers a copy if they genuinely want the map and arent trying to rip us off!

It does print out, usually its on the second page of print preview (well it is in Firefox anyway).

You can buy road maps in Bookazine.

Yes I was talking about the map on the site.
Its not on print preview on my version of IE.
Anyway, thanks for all your help. I'll manage until I get to HH and add maps to the shopping list :P
