Well, that summed it up nicely, Heebio. I wouldn't want to be getting into that kind of situation!!
I suppose that "roads are meant to be travelled" stops in Vietnam.
(I'm not having a go, Linh. Just couldn't resist the comment).

At least there are chances for you to fix your visa with the sum of 25 - 30$

In the other hand, if I asked why there is no way for me to have a tourist visa to EU or US unless I have US$50.000 in my account and a guarantee job in Vietnam can you give me the answer?

Touche. Good point. I won't bother wasting my time trying to apologise for my country's attitude to visas.
