Flights to Hua Hin

Post by Honolulu Jimmy »

Seems Bangkok Airways is not listing ?????
Any airline do that run? Seems with the car service and time flights may be the way to go!

Excuse me. Last post is incredible. Forgive me for asking, but just how long have you lived in HH? Lev is fielding the questions expertly but debate is good and demand or should I say lack of it, is why there are no BKK flights. Sorry, well actually I am not, this is a quality board and I don't see why you think you have the devine right to rule high and mighty over everyone, even if sometimes, the questions may be a repeat of the last 100. Chill out or butt out. Enjoy your day.

Dear jimmy and Ken

Post by SHADOW »

Oh dear....... First I have to reply I am not trying to admonish, reprove, berate, upbraid or castigate anyone. Is Jimmy trying to say that he can look up Bkk airways flights but can't scroll down the page and see that 14 replies to this topic have been posted and that over 500 people have read that the airport is shut and has been for over one year.
Ken my point is that there is a post about most things that's why there are 400+ plus people signed up but not that many of them post or reply, people use this forum to find out the things they want to know, if it has been written about before and replied to why post again asking the same question. The forum has to move on and open disscusions on wider and frankly more interesting subjects.
The answers are out there you just have to look before you post. Not many people spend time looking for answers to questions that people post, the ones that do, are fair minded not biast or condersending.
If I was any more chilled my arse would be in a freezer.

Can't we all just get along?

The reality is that people don't want to spend hours reviewing long strings of messages to see if anything has changed, when they can simply post a quick question and hope someone posts a quick - friendly- reply.

I've found this site a great resource both in reviewing the old messages, and in quick posts.

If you see a new posting for the airport, just ignore it if it bothers you. You don't have to open it, or respond to it. But if you feel inclined to help someone out and answer their silly questions, then I'm sure they will appreciate it.

Cheers

Lads,lads, lads,
stop bickerring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Icame to Hua Hin last month, and the way I saw it , I fell lucky.
On the internet , I contacted" Golf of Siam" and made a reservation for them to pick me up at BKK airport and take me to my Hua Hin hotel.
I arrived at BKK,jaded/drunk/tired .....as you do!!!The driver was waiting,a sign with my name written on it,took my baggage down to the car.And in 2 and a half hours i was at my hotels reception. The cost...........2500 Baht(plus a tip for the excellent driver). No hassles,no sales, no haggling.Non stop,in an air con Volvo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can obviously do it much cheaper, but rather than haggle for a taxi, and for peace of mind ,this is the way to go

Blimey, yeah calm down.

Anyway, I heard that the airport served only freight or private flights.

If this is true then I can tell my mate in Phuket to drive.
