Aussie pension for retired couple is approx. 65,000 bht on exchange 25bht to Aus$. We can supplement that with house/assets/super equity to about 30,000 a month. All good unless the exchange rate drops further!

How easy is it to find a house in Hua Hin so close to the beach for that much?

I would have thought, not easy at all - JamesWest must be very fortunate to live only100 metres from the beach for just 11,000 a month.

We have 3 bedroom, in and outdoor kitchen , livingroom, toilet w bath in and outside, garden around the house and newly made garage, then our host made the roof so not so hot... Price 10 k pr month, electric 1.500, wifi 700, water 50

We live 150 m from beach and 2 min from center...

I know townhouses near Tuesday market 2 floor for 5.000.- so pretty easy live cheap here.

You can make nice food if eat home for 150 a day and we talk good food.

You can go party where softdrink cost 90-120 or 20, same same but different..

Same meal cost 150 one plave but better cost 35 other place.

Ofcoz golf, girls, beer etc cost, but dont it anywhere....
