Two proper attacks, neither of them in the Gulf but in the Indian Ocean; so you are much more likely to be killed in a traffic accident, even while diving (google jet ski accident thailand).

I really like this forum because there are no personal attacks. All the members contribute in a positive way to my posts.

I was at koh Talu a few years ago snorkelling and got the distinct impression I was being stalked by one!! Big bugger kept about 10 m away and circled me! Impressive but a bit scary.

You are more likely to die that way (traffic accident) than any other way in Thailand...Two proper attacks, neither of them in the Gulf but in the Indian Ocean; so you are much more likely to be killed in a traffic accident, even while diving (google jet ski accident thailand).
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Here's a cool site http://www.ocearch.org/ tracking sharks worldwide.
Looks like HHF is in much more danger than we are when taking a dip.

There has been reported only 4 shark attacks in the last 100 years and they were on fishermen. There are no known attacks on divers/scuba or otherwise.

No much chance of a shark attack in Thailand because they get caught and are eaten long before they're big enough to attack.

That's about right, in all my years diving here I've only ever seen two sharks, dive in Indo or the Phils and there are hundreds of em!Takiap wrote:No much chance of a shark attack in Thailand because they get caught and are eaten long before they're big enough to attack.
