30 day visa change to a non imm "O" visa

is it possible to convert a 30 day visa to a Non Immigrant "O" visa while in Thailand.

I'm not sure either as I did mine on the basis of monthly income. However, the initial application gets you 3 months, at the end of which you apply for the 12 month extension, so that may be when the length of time in the bank becomes relevant.

I converted my visa based on marriage so only had to show Baht 400k .
