Frustrating day at banks trying to make deposit of 800k for which i explain why ie to get 1year retirement visa. They all say l cannot because I must have house rent agreement one year! Well excuse me for being dumb but how can I have a 1year house agreement if I didn't have a 1 year visa! Otherwise I'd be paying rent and couldn't be there! But then girl in Krungsi (yellow) said "do you have Thai friend? Then you can open... "did she mean that I could get someone to give me an agreement to stay with them 1 year? So do farangs rent a house here for a year and THEN get the 1year visa when they arrive?seems risky to me..... Again any feedback /experiences welcome cheers
