Visa Run Ranong- latest feedback

Post by thecolonel » Sun Feb 05, 2017 1:58 pm

Looking for latest feedback on the Ranong Visa run from Hua hin, as I've not done this one (last year I did Baan Phu Nam Ron but current visa won't allow this crossing )

So I'm on a 60 day SETV already extended by 30 to 17 Feb so planning 13 to 15th Feb window

I'm hoping to get 30 days(re-entry) and extend further 30 days at HHI

I think I recall being told I may only get 15 days at Ranong but I am UK (G7)so hope 30.but if only 15 & I can extend the 15 by 30 I could live with that

Anything I should be aware of based on my plan above? Thanks

The G7 thing is no longer relevant as of December.

Anyone crossing a land border without a visa gets 30 days now, extendable by another 30. However, a new limit was introduced - such crossing can only be done twice in one calendar year. Try it for a third time and you will be denied entry (or exit, if you try at Ranong).
