Only one downside to being the quiz master is that you get last dibs on the food
Sounds like JW has a task next month to make sure the quiz master/mistress gets a large portion
PLAN--when the food arrives--quiz master should say---I think the food is ready,
let me check before you line up--Then goes and serves himself--Then says--The food is ready.
Sateeb, your booked for the next one - several quizzers have gone out of their way to get in touch and say how much they enjoyed the night.
We will have a plan to make sure you get grub next time, overlooked that one somehow!

To all those who come just a personal thanks for your continued support, any ideas comments you have about the quiz or JWs in general please feel free to get in touch. We are always looking to improve and are happy to take any ideas on board.
Many thanks for the vote of confidence and echo the comments from JW that if anyone has any ideas how the quiz can be improved please do get in touch. There were some scoring issues that were down to my original system which I have now tweaked.

i have a Norwegian lady friend who has a good command of English. She was asking me about the quiz night and whether there any Scandinavian attendees. I explained to her it was a fun evening and easy to get invited into a team and it was more fun than a serious competition. She will more than likely read this post so any encouraging comment will help

I have seen a few of my Norwegian kin at some of the quizzes...i like to keep the quiz a "world quiz" and not keep it a Brit themed affair. Pity she wasn't at the last quiz as one of the questions referred to Oslo's previous name prior to independence(Kristiania 1925). I will try to post this months questions on this thread after the event.
