I'm guessing this is the easier to understand Governor's letter that hhinner mentioned yesterday. I only translated a small part, and yes, it was easier to understand. At 8 pages long, I'm not translating all of it.

And just to be even clearer, it's effective *until* the 1st September(at least)

Or they should say "effective up to and including 31st August"

Sorry to be pedantic but I've nothing else to do for the rest of the month, and possibly beyond!

Wouldn't it be clearer and simpler to list what is allowed to open. It would be a much smaller list and everything not mentioned is shut!!

Thai's as usual will always choose the more complicated approach.

On my drive to and from the lake this morning, I spotted 2 eateries with seated customers, and 1 massage parlour with workers sat outside. However, those not complying were many more yesterday.

Makes me wonder if the underground bars will continue to operate?

The logic being they were breaking the law before so why stop now?

Possibly because it's deemed a more serious offence this time around??

Thoughts anyone?

It'll be a bit more risky with the curfew in place, although there seemed to be plenty of photographers out last night recording the empty streets.

It will come down to one thing - will anybody enforce it?
