It is, however, very common in Thailand, more so than elsewhere (what happens in the UK is irrelevant in this instance). Also disgusting that it happens with state-enforced quarantine - the govt should be sued for allowing such filthy hotels to be part of their scheme.

Anyway :offtopic:
The quarantine hotels are supposed to get a strict inspection. Hmmm I wonder how this one passed $$$$

Probably the same way it got away with the inspection when the local health department were called in. False promises (& ฿฿฿฿฿฿฿฿).

^^ No mention of price. But, if we have to pay maybe we also will have a choice of vaccine.

Did he? And is he, even though he is health minister, a credible source? The BP article you linked to mentions maybe companies will need to copay for jabs for their migrant workers; so free for everybody?

Maybe the vaccination plan, due on Monday according to today's briefing, will reveal all. Or not.

There was an article last week, and he said it would be free even for Expats. Of course, what is the definition of an Expat? Will it include retirees, or just those with work permits? Aren't those with work permits part of the NI scheme?

I think that only applies to those working for government schools, unis and other institutions.
This is the way

I think that all workers are supposed to be enrolled in the social insurance scheme, with the possible exception of migrant labourers from Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos who may have a separate scheme.

and it’s within our capacity to provide free vaccinations
That says what they 'could' do, not what they will do.
