Obviously that needs checking out and is hopefully wrong.

Good point. Will check on it. I know having been to various dealers today that finance interest is around 3.5%. The pick-up was purchased from Toyota PKK, so I would expect the finance company to be reliable.
I haven't owned nor wanted to own a car for many years. I got to dislike having to deal with paperwork, breakdowns, servicing, warranties, insurance, fines, speed traps, etc.. If it didn't fit in my pocket or my mouth, I didn't want it. Needed to take time out and do the pony-tailed, flip-flop India Odyssey free spirit thingamajig. So, if I need transport, I use the g/f's beat up but reliable pick-up.
Now the yogic jim-jams (pyjamas) have been replaced by a golf shirt, I'm coming full circle. Damn domestic bliss has knocked me off the path!
