Peter Green rocks.
About the only guitarist who IMHO is maybe better than Clapton. His voice isn't great, but personally that's neither here or there.
He came out of solitude, mental illness, excess etc after years as a hermit and could still play guitar pretty well.

Only just seen this post, mags, so who are you referring to - Cleo Laine? If so that is damning by faint praise for Amy Winehouse. I'd compare her more to Janis Joplin as far as talent and lifestyle goes...

What am I listening to now?

An orchestra in the garden; consisting of the monotonous, yet gentle, soothing tones of the bull frogs (definitely bass), the highly pitched and sometimes erratic sounds of the cicadas (let's call them the wind section shall we), and the occasional snore from Rubble (that's the dog Mr. RC :) or maybe the oboe).

I may just plug in the headphones and listen to a bit of Queen...

I've heard of them but don't reckon I've heard any of their music.
OK, I know I'm an old recluse, settled into my musical way, but what kind of music is theirs? Until I get another hard drive, my space is getting limited.
Is this group worth downloading?
Did you give them a try then Lomu?
