The Thai Family Tree

Post by lomuamart »

Was round at a family gathering at my wife's eldest sister's a couple of nights ago and was amazed at the generations. I know that Thais can start producing offspring earlier than we generally would in the West, but....
So, there's Mum and Dad, eldest sister, who has a daughter who has a daughter who's 8 months pregnant.
I guess that will make Mum and Dad great, great grandparents when the little one is born.
Can anyone beat that?

Lomu, my partner’s family can match it in the village; she has an older sister who has a one year old grandson and her grandmother is still alive and although nobody knows her exact age, she looks to be in her nineties.

It was quite funny recently when the elderly lady, who still lives in her own house despite being blind with age, had her electricity cut off for some reason.

The family was full of concern that something might happen to her, and spent a day rushing around to restore the supply, only for her to laughingly point out that the only thing electric in the house was the lights, and she couldn’t see them anyway!

Tried drawing up a family tree for the wifes family but gave up.

Paper too small Tree too big :D :D

Think the tree would become a forest and the bits of paper a book
RICHARD OF LOXLEY

It’s none of my business what people say and think of me. I am what I am and do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. It makes life so much easier.
