Do any of the experts have any advice on where to buy a second hand bicycle.
My thanks in advance.

You do get some at 'pro bike' out near the PTT station past the Bangkok bank. As is often the case in Thailand though they are not far off the price of a new one. You can pick up a decent trek for about 10,000 bht a second hand one for about 7000.
There are the 'LA Bikes' but to be honest they are not up to much. Ok for a roll around town I suppose...

I found the same problem with LA bikes. They look nice when you buy them, but soon after you discover you arent getting the quality you expected. After sales service is terrible. I paid 10,00 for a mongoose, mtn bike. The bottom braket was ceased in 1 week, and they told me I was riding the bike too hard and i should not take it off paved roads, eventhough its a mountain bike..TIT...live and learn

The Treks are the best value for the money, that is if you can run to about 10,000 baht. You can buy cheaper but you may be disappointed. 'Pro bike' may have a second hand one for about 6000 baht, you will have to go down there and see.
They are a good bunch of people with very good after sales service. I have no hesitation in recommending them...
