Post by Scott »

:( Having no joy finding a maid.
Anyone got any ideas of a maid who is looking for work ?
Was looking for one to work three mornings a week.
Thanks.

Scott, we've been through a few and a lot of them have been lazy and unreliable. We have a good one now that is at our house from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday... so, she has Sundays and Mondays off and is free after 2 p.m. all the other days. I know she is looking for another part time job. If you want to see if she is interested in working for you too, pm me.

She only speaks Thai...

We have just had to get a new maid as the previous one got a job in one of the hotels.

We went to Room By Room and within a week we had a new maid, two mornings a week and all seems to be working out fine.

Perhaps you should give them a call

:lach: :lach: Very good, migrant, but it might be wise to invest in some good Californian counselling before coming to Thailand permanently! I have visions of you looking at exchange rates and having a fit...

5000 baht per month for 5 hours per day, 5 days per week starting out. After almost a year she was still reliable and having financial problems so we just raised her to 6000 baht.
