If comparing apples for apples, ie: centre of town then I think Walking Street is the same or maybe more than Bintabaht.

Bar Prices

Post by cookmanchef »

Hi Raphoe,

Depends really what you like of an evening? If you like the bars where the girls make a fuss of any farang with a fat wallet, then town prices are as quoted. If you prefer a quieter experience then some of the Thai bars near the Railway Station and other parts just outside town it is much cheaper. I am currently paying 30b for a small beer, at the moment it is Leo, think it depends which one they can get cheap.

I definitelt recommend a visit out that way.
