A little help needed

Post by Harry Bosch »

My partner and I have been to Thailand on many occasions but have stayed in Hua Hin for a week only. We will be arriving in Hua Hin in the next few weeks and will be looking after a short while for a house or condo to rent with a view to buying in maybe 6 months. If any body could help with info on a short lease for a condo or a house, it would be greatly appreciated.

Harry.

Welcome to HHAD Harry, have a look at the accommodation listings on this site (down the right-hand side) or the holiday villa rentals here:

Would also suggest reading this:

Sorry, I forgot to ask is there a place where the expats congregate? I’ve looked and noted Billy’s Bar (is this a gay bar?), also Bernie’s is this bar for golfers? What other bars do the expats frequent?

 NO Harry, Billy's is not a gay nor a 'Girlie' bar. Billy is also a mind of info & extremely helpfull. Dont be put off by the daytime quietness of Billy's. It only starts to liven up later in the night. Great place for a chat and a bit of quiet. If you are in to golf, Bernie's a few doors away from Billy's is home to Hua Hin Golf Society. Sabai Bar a couple of staggers & one or two drunken hops away is also involved in a big way with above society. Next to Sabai Bar is The Limelight Bar, home of Butterfly Rock Golf Society. Expats frequent every bar in Hua Hin. By the way, in my opinion, Hua Hin is not a huge town. You can get around quite a lot of bars very easily  Doc
