But in saying, that make sure it is you that makes the payment direct to the accounts that she owes.
If you do not the only thing she will do is gamble the money away. I would advise her to send her daughter away for a few weeks and see if she can sort things out one way or the other, without the added pressure of worrying about her daughter and her whereabouts.
Do not even go anywhere near giving her the odd 20,000, because if you do it will never end.
There is a a saying that you have to sometime be cruel to be kind, and I think that really applies here unfortunately.
I for one hope she can get through this, but giving her money is not going to help her at all as I can assure you she will use it to gamble again.
Gambling is much the same as drugs and booze, once in your blood is very hard to go back to a normal life.
