Dog Rescue Center

Post by weezil »

I'd like to find out more about the Dog Rescue Center, but their website seems to have timed out. Does anyone have any information?

The web site was re-named http://www.headrockdogs.org/. I've just tried it here in the UK and it is working fine.

I thought the dog centre was on the road to the Temple by Elephant Village off Hnong Plub Road.

This closed down quite a while ago after many troubles. There is a thread about it somewhere.

Yet another idiot posting, there is a link earlier in this thread linking you to the dog rescue site with history and details of the current work being done.
Try reading a thread before posting useless information :guns:

So what exactly did Kraka's dad get wrong?

The Dog Centre in Hua Hin closed down. Right or wrong? No answer required.

Fantastically Dawn has carried on with her good work elsewhere and I know Lindosfan1 has been a great supporter.

Secondly. 'after many troubles' doesn't unfortunately seem an unfair statement.

Sure, it was covered a bit earlier but think your reply could have been a bit kinder. It is Xmas.

Just to clarify:

HeadRock Dogs has not closed, but we no longer have a shelter facility.

Our adoptable dogs are in Bang Saphan with Verity & Thep and she is working very hard to get homes for them (including featuring them in the Bangkok Post every week)

The special needs dogs are in Pranburi with me.

We still work with dogs, concentrating on neutering, vaccinating and general health in established communities, but deal with sick dogs when we can (more difficult & expensive with nowhere to put them whilst recovering).

All of this is on our website which BB kindly gave the link to (above)

Hi DawnHRD
We had not heard of your work in Hua Hin when we were there sorry. If we had we would have supported you in your dog rescues.
However we did stumble across a temple (sorry dont know the name) a few klicks south on the way to Pranburi on the right side of the road that had over 100 dogs within the grounds. We used to take meat and bones there any time we were driving south.
Good luck with your work.
I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.
