HHAD Chat Time

Hi one and all

Had a very pleasant chat with Sarge and a few today at lunchtime

We sorted out the world, US, UK and Hua Hin in the space of a couple of hours

Struck me afterwards that it was a good idea to meet face to face and chew over some ideas without blasting it out on the forum

So why don't we have a meet up now and again, put faces to names and openly discuss our differences and opinions over a beer or three

Perhaps we could meet in a mutually agreed bar (JW's?) who might be kind enough to offer us a meagre discount on the Changs, Leos etc. Sure the bar would benefit from some overstayers into the evening and a bit of grub too

So Jockey, Mr Plum, Sandman and all and sundry, How about it?

May i sggest wednesdays at 12 noon and hopefully JW will go for 12 till 330 at 55 baht a big chang after that normal price open to all HHAD members on disclosure of internett name minimum 15 posts

Darn! I'm out of Town and Back in Bangers again!!!!


It was my desire to NAmes to faces and meet Up with HHAD Fellas like SAndman, Jockey or Sarge and many others in person and have a healthy dicussion & exchanging on Ideas going over a Pint of beer or 2. I would Provide some Munchers like Chips, Oop"s! I mean Crisps to go along with dem drinks if nessecary.

Well though Luck on my side! I Hope there will be similar meetings on fututre dates.
Be back in Hua Hin. around 15. to 19 of January!

Our aim here is to give the locals some really good value and a nice venue for an afternoon of putting the world to rights - it could be worth a streaming webcam broadcast - it be better viewing than House of Commons!


Added some really good food value specials for you - (If there are enough people i will do a Chilli for you next week!)


Tao's homemade Burger and REAL CHIPS (not frozen!) 100 baht
Choice of Thai curries with rice - 60 baht
Potatoe Wedges with cheese - 60 baht
Sausage and onion bagutte - 100 baht

Wish i could be there to sample the pie Sarge.

This is a first for us also, any ideas welcome - criticism ok to so long as its constructive!!

I have no idea where this might be and quick search of the map only turns up JJ's. May I assume that it is the Johnny Walker's that appears on the map?

How late do you think folks will be there anyway? I expect to be heading for the Hilton gym later in the afternoon and may drop by. .as I always walk up Bintabat.
