get your model done here
This one is pretty but it's going to be an oven with all those windows, and not retain the benefits of an aircon. Petesplitlid wrote:

ok not a house,as dont have anyones model to do, but have been playing around with some building blocks, and think they look cool enough to post.
the first one is straight out of renderer, the second is the same as the first but has some post procesing in photoshop.
the third is straight from renderer, and the last has some photoshop also.
render time was about 40 mins.post processing about 3mins

Re: get your model done here
ok so it been 2 years ish since i started this thread and now its time for a quick update.
in the past i have been using a renderer called artlantis, which gives fairly good results but was always lacking that realism.
i have been playing around with a program called Maxwell for about 1.5 years and just recently have made vast improvements in my work, mainly due to me putting in some more effort.
so here is a render using maxwell, im sure you will all agree that it is a much better quality, however, the better quality means more time and effort.this one took about 1 week to do materials and environment(no modelling) and then 10 hours to render.
oh, and about 20 crashes on my laptop
comments welcome.
