We missed the attendance of a few members (Sandman, Murf and Jockey) but I'm sure this inaugural meeting will be the foundation for a regular meet up
Sorry I never got my invite,I was away anyway.
But reading some of the s..t people write about other people here who they do not even know -I suggest some Wednesday we should book the square ring in grand sport for some proper friendly fun and then we can round it off with some beers and more fun.
Pleasure meeting you Rich-enjoyed it-hope we do it again-but what happend to your hot chilli status,as I said I was away.
Happy New Year everyone.

I did not push last weeks meeting because i did not want to pressure Barry to open if it was not worth his while (i was also dying of flu)

I have been contacted by our erstwhile suspended member and JW and wednesday at 1300 in JWs bar is on again JW if you could confirm

I will try to be there but have sister and husband here so if i do get there it will i am afraid be short and sweet

I hope it keeps going and more will attend in time it has been excerllent fun and superbly hosted by barry

Can I assume this meetup has died a death through lack of interest?

Yep I'd like them to continue. Nothing like a good chinwag and putting a face to a handle

Well served my time but was beginning to feel like Papillon

Firstly-----Thanks Lev and mods for my release. Breaking rocks is not my idea of fun. I prefer breaking nuts (I DO NOT WORK IN BINTERBAN by the way!!!)
)

Secondly---- Thanks to all who helped secure my release. (Jimmy Greaves would have been nice to have a mate in there with me!!) and thanks for all the emails and chats in Binter

Thought I might have to go over the wall and get a new IP address

Inside?--- booze and grub was great but in solitary you can’t communicate and for a jibbering Tyke that is fatal. Ended up talking to myself but I wouldn’t listen to myself!!! Bit of a dogs life really... oops

Anyway, learnt my lesson and decided to be sensible and put the flippancy away in the draw for future use in bars only. Maybe I’ll slip back into my Price Waterhouse lingo. ‘Clearly I believe’ ‘It is alleged’ etc etc

Cheers-----Richard, Rich, Sabo, Sambo, Tricky Dickie, Dick Ed, Dick,. Richie, Rickie and all the rest of my labels

Anyway

:offtopic:

Anybody else interested in resurrecting the meetup?

Welcome back richard. I'm open to future meetings and am a reasonably good listener. (Some of you fellas can't transmit without a receiver).

Daylight hours suit me better.

OK Sarge

Know the feeling when visitors arrive

Never ming bring your kettle and a thousand tea bags. I'll provide the scones and we can all revel in a British afternoon tea party. Anybody got any clotted cream and jam? :D :D
