Driving from Hua Hin to Krabi - Where to stop for lunch

Post by malcolminthemiddle »

We're planning a road trip from Hua Hin down to Krabi.

Plan to leave HH early morning and stop for lunch on the way.

Any recommendations for lunch on the road?

Many thanks.

Plenty of choices all the way down, take your pick! The first services sort of place is about 2 hrs south of HH.

Have fun its really beautiful once youturn off the main highway - take your camera!

After you pass the Chumphon lights and carry straight onto H41 there will be a number of beach resorts off on the left. One I have been to is Chaiya. This is 120 KM south of the crossroads. Turn left onto H2191 and in about 10KM you will hit the beach.

There are also many places on the main road in the Punphin/Surat area. Don't leave it until you turn off on H44 though, there is nothing at all along there until you are almost in Krabi.
